We are excited to be recruiting new talent to join our growing and innovative team - Contracts Specialist.
This position manages and oversees subcontracts, and administers and coordinates the formulation of subcontract agreements, policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards for the Company.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Assists in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals including updating and completing deliverable documentation Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligation Manages and creates contract folders including archiving contracting documentation Coordinates data and information and prepares internal and external reports from various departments Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices Performs basic analysis for firm fixed-price, time and material, and cost-plus fixed fee contracts Maintains and retrieves contract documents and ensures compliance with company policy as well as relative laws/regulations Communicates job expenditure overages Follows established contract procedures to perform tasks related to pre-award and post-award and contract termination Composes minutes and reports and drafts contract provisions and supporting documents Qualifies employees against contract labor qualifications Completes contract documents such as Limitation of Funds letters, Representations and Certifications, and monthly reports Maintains proper contract documents or files Performs all other duties as assigned To qualify for this position, you must possess at least three (3) years of contracts administration experience in the DoD industry.
A HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or relevant discipline is preferred.
Additionally, Deltek CostPoint experience is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
