Excellent Opportunity for Full Time Urgent Care Veterinarian!VCA Three Notch Animal Hospital is a modern eight doctor practice in Hollywood, Maryland.
We are located in Southern Maryland near the beautiful Chesapeake Bay which hosts many outdoor recreational opportunities and is only 2 hours from Maryland and Delaware beaches.
Our practice is conveniently located an hour and a half south of Annapolis and about two hours south of Baltimore.
We offer our clients a high standard of care and we believe in educating our clients so they can make the best medical choices for their pets.
We have a new state of the art facility with 5 exam rooms, a comfort room and ample equipment to compliment your skills and knowledge so you can practice the high level of medicine to which you are accustomed.
We are dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures.
Our highly skilled support staff play an integral role in supporting our doctors and providing excellent medical care to our patients and a high level of customer service to our clients.
Our community based practice provides opportunities to engage with our clients in a variety of settings including service projects, client education seminars, and family friendly festivals.
We are seeking a Maryland licensed veterinarian with the ability to provide quality care in a friendly and supportive environment.
Experience is preferred but not required! Our practice is focused on small animals and has a quickly growing patient population of exotic companion mammals, and reptiles.
Proficiency in urgent care, surgery and dentistry is also beneficial.
We handle all types of appointments from wellness to patients requiring hospitalization and we are seeking an individual to see the majority of our urgent cared patients.
We routinely use laser therapy, our in house lab, CO2 surgical laser, digital x-ray and digital ultrasound as tools to help our patients.
Our practice is Feline Friendly Gold certified and over half of our staff are Fear Free certified.
Our ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with animals and their owners and want to be part of a fun, interactive team with a main focus in urgent care.
Good communication skills and the ability to handle a steady patient load while maintaining a good sense of humor are encouraged.
